"I've always been drawn to working with intertwining shapes, and I thought finding a new way to combine hearts and infinity symbols was a fun challenge. For my “bouquet,” I wanted to include different kinds of flowers—some classic favourites associated with romance, like roses and tulips, but also the less-common fairy thimbles for a dash of whimsy. I also wanted to symbolically represent the multitude of varieties of love that exist (romantic, familial, platonic, self-love, etc), which is why I aimed to integrate several hearts into the final shape. Connecting them in an endless, circular, lace-like configuration conveys the sentiment of harmony and abundance of love."

Designed by Mariya Olshevska, your coin’s reverse features a multi-faceted heart at its centre, where the shape forms an everlasting expression of love. It is surrounded by a circular arrangement of symbolic flowers: tulips for affection and renewal; roses for devotion and beauty; and fairy thimble for those small, simple moments that can feel like magic. Rose gold plating adds a pink hue to the ribbon that forms hearts and infinity symbols as it weaves among the blooms, and to the rim on both sides of the coin. The obverse features the rose gold-plated effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
